Public Forum - Feb. 9, 2012
The Jonesville Fire District study sessions regarding the Feasibility Study for the future of Fire Station #2 have been completed. Nine committee meetings were held over the past eight months.
The Fire District recently authorized the hiring of Bivens Architects to commence schematic design plans for the option selected which includes renovation and addition to the structure. Hueber Breuer Construction Co. Division of Fire Protection Services has been guiding the process as a consultant, having managed numerous fire station projects in recent years.

A Special Board of Fire Commissioners meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Station 1, 953 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY, to discuss Station 2 building plans.

The Jonesville Volunteer Fire Department responded to a Mass Casuality Incident (MCI) at the intersectoin of Route 146 an Route 146A the afternoon of December 28, 2011. Clifton Park Halfmoon Ambulance, Ballston Lake EMS, Malta Ambulance and Niskayuna Ambulance also responded to the scene.
